It has been more than 20 years since the "Ink Blend" event first set sail.
Since 2005, “Ink Blend” Event has been a premier on-site event hosted at retail locations across Japan and outside of Japan. Sailor's master ink blenders consult with each customer to custom-blend fountain pen inks on the spot.
This highly popular experience, pioneered by master blender Mr. Ishimaru, allows users to walk away with a truly one-of-a-kind color tailored to their unique preferences. Over the past two decades, the traveling atelier expanded with Mr. Takahashi in 2019, followed by the next generation of master blenders, Ms. Tetsusashi and Ms. Iwasaki, in 2025. Sailor’s Voyage unites the vision, craft, and personal stories of these four master blenders into an extraordinary milestone series.
