Morocco leather is a pliable material that has been valued in luxury book bindings since the late 16th century. Its strength provided a rich backdrop for showcasing embellishments, and it is this classic leather and gilt combination that has inspired us to create this cover.

All of Paperblanks' paper is derived from sustainable forest pulp. Their binder boards are made with 100% recycled materials and their paper is printed on acid-free, sustainable forest paper.
- Paper Quality -
Inside every Paperblanks journal is our authentic laid paper in an eye-pleasing cream colour. The opacity of our journal pages ranges from 85 gsm to 120 gsm, depending on the format, and specific paper weight information can be found on the individual product pages.
- Smyth Sewn Binding -
We take the durability of our products seriously and bind all our books using the sturdy yet incredibly flexible Smyth sewn technique. In the classic art of bookmaking, the sewing together of signatures (paper folded into groups of eight, sixteen or thirty-two pages) is seen as the heart of a well-made book, and we have followed this tradition in creating Paperblanks books.
- Wrap Closure -
All our wraps fold over the front cover and are held securely in place by hidden magnets.
- Memento Pouch -
Our accordion-style horizontal memento pouch stores your loose papers, ticket stubs and business cards without adding extra bulk to your book.
- Ribbon Markers -
All Paperblanks journals feature at least one satin ribbon marker in a colour specifically selected to complement the cover design.

We are proud to give credit to the talented individuals and artistic movements that have inspired our designs. The back endpaper of every book contains credit and copyright information, as well as a fascinating historical background for the original artwork.
