Osprey Pens and its long-slit flex nibs were new to me. Thanks to Buchan's for bringing the pens into Canada. Osprey is a small Texas-based company, but its products seem in every way to be as well executed as those coming from more mature pen makers. Barrel and cap are nicely fitted with only enough friction in the threads to ensure a good seal when the pen is capped. The section tapers gently and then flares slightly before the nib, ensuring a comfortable ~10mm diameter grip - nicely done and very comfortable for most hands. The nib is unusual, with its very long slit and absence of breather hole giving it a firmly controllable flex. The nib is very well tuned out of the box - smooth with a hint of feedback that aids writing control. This is a very well designed pen and nib combination that has been continuously inked since I received it and will I think remain inked and in use for a long time. I like it a lot.
