The Hobonichi Techo 2026 English Planner Book is the internationally focused edition of the iconic planner, directed by Sonya Park of Arts&Science. Designed for ease of use across all countries and languages, the refined charcoal gray and red layout, exclusive bonus pages, and elegant details set this Planner apart.
The matte black cover is foil-pressed with the Japanese characters for “techo” alongside the Arts&Science key logo, while the spine is stamped in gold with the year 2026 and “HOBO” for quick bookshelf reference.
Like all Hobonichi planners, this edition is bound with thread-stitch binding so it lays flat like a dictionary for comfortable writing. The pages use Tomoe River paper—thin, lightweight, and fountain pen friendly—ideal for daily writing, notes, and creative journaling.
The Planner includes daily pages in A6 size, as well as a yearly index, yearly calendar, and monthly pages. Bonus content for 2026 includes Memories 2026, Mochi―Japan’s Favorite Sticky Treat, and Shinkansen―Travel Japan on the Bullet Train. Holidays are intentionally left out to keep it universal.
Pair your Planner with a Hobonichi Techo cover, including options created in collaboration with Arts&Science (sold separately).

I have been using this annual planner for about 5 years and love it. Space for all the notes I need to make for each day. A monthly calendar at the front for important dates to keep track of at a glance, and a notes section at the back. The paper is very thin but work for a lighter coloured fountain pen ink or regular ink. Just an all around great planner for my purposes.
