I have had a number of diplomat pens over the past 30 years including their limited edition and I have never been disappointed. Lately I have been drawn to Asian pens in part because of the cost-value proposition. The diplomat viper drew me back and now the cobra. Both are great value in my view. The cobra fits nicely in the hand and the ink flows with a very light touch of the nib to paper. Plus it is not paper fussy. I also appreciate that Buchan’s made the pen available for a reasonable price and speedy service.
