Japan observes the changes of time with celebrations for the spring and autumn equinox, and the summer and winter solstice. Sailor Professional Gear Slim Solar Term Series shines a light on some of the finer traditions beloved across Japan on these special seasonal days.
Fuki honors the vernal equinox with a hopeful light green body and soft khaki-colored finials that bring to mind budding plants.

I'm a fan of Sailor's signature nibs, and the Pro Gear Slim has the perfect proportions for my hand. It's neither too long nor too short, with a grip section that's also just right. It's lightweight without feeling flimsy. And this colour? It's as beautiful as I'd hoped. The combination of moonlike pale green and light brown ends remind me of a luna moth. That it also faintly shimmers is an unexpected delight.
Great and beautiful pen, but also an unexpectedly wet/broad writer. I was expecting a bit of a narrower line considering what I know about Sailor nibs. This medium nib writes thinner if held at a higher angle and quite broad when held at a low angle. The width variation is a happy surprise, but it does mean I have to be a bit more careful with my writing so it keeps looking neat.
