In purchasing a Mountain 580ALR I was delighted by the service and patience shown by the staff.
I discovered that 580 EF is indeed, as others have commented in various websites, not as fine as the irreplaceable EF nib of the TWSB. I Eco. The line width is between Eco EF and F. Pity, not being able to purchase an EF nib for the Eco. Attempt at finding ones that “fit” from Asian source is not satisfactory. Poor fit and ink flow.
Just purchasing another Eco EF is likely the best option.
Will happily go back to Buchan’s pen shop and chat about inks and pens with a terrific staff.
