The Lumos Pro is an infinitely refillable fineliner, writing, and brush pen, and includes 9 professional artist's tips and 2 writing tips.
Single Vs. Duo:
• The Single Lumos has one tip and one ink reservoir, which is double the Duo's reservoir size.
• The Duo Lumos allows you to have two different pens in one body, allowing you to easily change between nibs and ink colours on either side.
Ink Compatibility:
The Lumos is compatible with dye-based Fountain Pen Inks, so long as they don’t contain particles (such as shimmer inks) or binders (like acrylic or shellac). It is also compatible with certain waterproof inks like Tom's Studio's No.60 Pigment Black, Sailor's Kiwa-guro or Platinum's Carbon inks Tom's Studio has tested these waterproof inks and they flow beautifully.
Some ink colours can concentrate in the tip, so you may experience a lighter colour after 1-2 lines. This is completely normal.
Storage:
You can store reservoirs and tips, and change to a different colour using spare reservoirs and reservoir storage containers.
Replacement Nib Tips:
You can expect the high-quality, Japanese-made tip to last for months of use. Replacement tips are available for purchase.
