Named after one of the book’s central characters, this Baroque-inspired cover features golden flowers and intricate arabesques set against a rich red background. Written in the 14th century, *The Decameron* is a landmark of Italian literature and Renaissance humanism, presenting 100 tales of love, wit, tragedy and human resilience. The original 18th-century binding is now preserved at the Musée Condé in Chantilly, France, and its ornate craftsmanship provides the inspiration for this striking journal design.
