A special collaboration between Hobonichi and the classic SUPER Famicom™ game MOTHER 2: Gyiyg Strikes Back! (EarthBound). The cover design features original clay figurines of beloved characters including Ness, Paula, Jeff, Mr. Saturn, King, and more, photographed in their original state from 1994.

The back cover continues the story with additional characters like Poo, Pokey, Dr. Andonuts, Bubble Monkey, and the Mach Pizza Guy. Foil-pressed MOTHER 2 and Hobonichi logos accent the design, while the spine features figurine prints for added delight when shelved.

Each HON book includes a set of exclusive Mr. Saturn paper clips (“In disguise.” and “Boing.”) and a clear A5 pencil board with grid lines, ruler markings, and a pen holder.
