As a member of the Vancouver Pen club, I have heard other members of the club say the word 'Hobonichi' with a gleam in their eye, and until the September 2026 'planner season' I had never set eyes on these. I can now appreciate the attraction of this paper, which is super thin, lovely to write on with any type of pen including fountain pens, and lovely to behold. I look forward to using these notebooks having purchased both an A5 and A6 grid version, and a weekly planner for 2027. I hope to become a 'planner season' fan now that I have studied all the offerings - there is LOTS of information online and it was great to look at the 'samples' in the store. Thank you Buchan's for making these available - shipping costs from the store in Japan are high!
