Write with a Fine nib today, swap to Medium tomorrow, both are included. This cellulose acetate pen swirls with ocean blue, green, and white shimmer under silver trim, inspired by the sea and island of Robinson Crusoe.
Wearingeul is a Korean stationery house founded in 2016 by calligrapher Ahn Dong Hyuk, built around a simple idea: literature can be experienced through more than words. Their "Colour of Literature" project reinterprets classic novels through color, scent, and design — this pen is one result.
The Preface No.011 – Robinson Crusoe draws its palette from Daniel Defoe's castaway tale, capturing the moment blue ocean meets green island shoreline. It's the second generation of the Preface line, refined with a metal-reinforced center section for a steadier feed connection and a larger, more balanced nib — plus the option to switch between Fine and Medium without buying a second pen.
Each barrel is cast in cellulose acetate, so the swirl pattern is naturally unique to every pen — no two look quite alike. Pair it with Wearingeul's matching Robinson Crusoe ink (sold separately) to complete the set.
