Tuesday Tea: Tea Forte Review
Introduction
Welcome to
Tuesday Tea, a new series where I will be reviewing different products over a cup of tea. Whether it will be different teas or stationery supplies, I'll always be sure to "spill the tea" on the latest things that come across my desk. Today I will be writing a review on
Tea Forte, an American High-Quality tea brand.
About Tea Forte
Tea Forté is a blended high-quality tea and herbal tea brand based in Massachusetts, USA. They use an elongated pyramid tea bag to ensure a higher quality "whole-leaf" tea than regular flat tea bags. With their product line inspired by the
Way of Tea, their goal is to "elevate a cup of tea into an extraordinary experience for all of your senses". As of January 2013, they have 79 different varieties of teas ranging from green, black, white, oolong, and herbal. Come into
Buchan's Kerrisdale Stationery to shop our assortment of Tea Forté products.
The Look
Before writing the review, I was intrigued by Tea Forte's utilization of a pyramid as the teabag shape, I have to say I was intrigued; as a result, I started to research their reasoning for this engineering change. The design allows for the delicate tea leaves to unfurl to allow for maximum taste. The aesthetic of the bag is quite pleasant too; however, to get the maximum taste out of the bag, I would recommend pouring the boiling water over the bag to let it soak in and saturate. I suggest this because the bag may tend to float to the top.
The Variety
Over 75 different teas ranging from black, white, green, herbal, and oolong? That's diversity to find a tea that will suit you perfectly. I personally prefer the Lemon Sorbetti green tea, but I am confident that you will find a flavor that will suit your everyday need.
The Taste
I have zero complaints, the taste fits every need! I tried the
green tea assortment variety pack and was pleasantly delighted. There was plenty of variety among the pack, and they all tasted quite nice. This does seem like quite a deluxe tea, and the price suggests so; however, I am going to make sure that I always have a box on hand because it's a great tea for a special occasion, or a fantastic pair with a book to cheer you up on any cloudy day. Whether you drink black, or herbal, you will find a perfect taste to suit any of your needs.
Verdict
I really enjoyed trying and reviewing Tea Forte, as I tasted more flavors, Tea Forte quickly became my favorite brand. The detailed flavor of their products and the variety they offer really make Tea Forte worth it. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone to suit any occasion. Whether it's a family party or an early night on a snowy day, Tea Forte will suit your needs. Come shop their assortment at
