Started as a small publisher company in 1997, under the name of Modo&Modo, Moleskine went on to make its mark on the whole world. The company got Trademark rights for the brand in 2007. Global Process of Manufacturing
Excellent quality of raw materials and care are taken in the process of manufacturing of each product. Paper was invented in South East Asia, and till today there are manufacturers capable of blending large volumes of paper with care and homemade craftsmanship. A relatively small portion of production is done in other places by other manufacturers who are required to submit relevant international quality certifications. The materials used in the making of products come from various places like Vietnam, Italy, France, Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, and Taiwan. The international quality papers and materials are checked thoroughly by the quality team. The paper used is acid-free and environmentally friendly. All the products manufactured are FSC-certified. The non-paper items are manufactured using low hazard materials that cause no harm to the health of the public.
