Pilot Iroshizuku Ink

The name "iroshizuku" is a combination of the Japanese words "iro" (colouring) expressing high standards and variation of colours, and "shizuku" (droplet), which embodies the very image of dripping water. Each ink name derives from the expressions of beautiful Japanese natural landscapes and plants, all of which contribute to the depth of each individual hue. Ku-Jaku
The Ku-Jaku, also known as “Peacock,” is a medium teal ink that can be a darker blue with a red sheen in larger swabs. The ink shades from an electric green to a darker blue-green similar to the sea. The ink has a wet flow and dries moderately quickly. The ink is not waterproof.
Ama-Iro
The Ama-Iro, also known as “Sky,” is a medium sky-blue ink. There is medium shading, with a tiny sheen, and no shimmer. There ink has wet flow, dries moderately quickly, and has a shade that goes towards medium blue. The ink is not waterproof.
Kon-peki
The Kon-peki, also known as “Bright-Blue,” is a medium blue ink. There is low shading, low sheen, and no shimmer. The ink has wet flow, dries moderately quickly, and shades a rich, bright blue. The ink is not waterproof.
Asa-Gao
The Asa-Gao, also known as “Modern Glory,” is a royal blue ink with a purple undertone. There is medium shading, tiny sheen, and no shimmer. The ink has wet flow and dries moderately quickly. The ink is not waterproof.
Tsuki-Yo
The Tsuki-Yo, also known as “Moonlight,” is a dark professional blue ink. There is medium shading, tiny sheen, and no shimmer. The ink has a wet flow and dries moderately slowly. The ink is not waterproof.
Yama-Budo
Yama-Budo, also known as “Crimson Glory Vine,” is a bright fuchsia purple ink. There is medium shading, medium sheen, and no shimmer. The ink has a wet flow and dries moderately quickly. The ink is not waterproof.
Momiji
Momiji, also known as “Red Leaves,” is a vibrant red-pink ink that looks more pink on some papers, and more red on others. There is low shading, low sheen, and no shimmer. The ink has a wet flow and dries moderately quickly. The ink is not waterproof.
Shin-Kai
The Shin-Kai, also known as “Deep Sea” is a medium blue-black ink. The ink has medium water resistance, wet flow, and dries moderately quickly. There is medium show-through, low bleeding, medium shading, low sheen, and no shimmer.
Fuyu-Syogun
The Fuyu-Syogun, or “Winter Wish” is a medium grey ink with a purple undertone. The ink has medium water resistance, wet flow, and dries moderately quickly. There is medium show through, no bleeding, medium shading, no sheen, and no shimmer.
Take-Sumi
The take-sumi is a neutral black ink with a little bit of dark red sheen. The ink has medium water resistance, a wet flow, and dries moderately slowly. There is medium show through, no bleeding, no shading, medium sheen, and no shimmer.
Fuyu-Gaki
Fuyu-Gaki is a bright red-orange ink. The ink has low water resistance, has a wet flow, and dries in moderate time. There is medium show through, low feathering, low bleeding, no shading, no sheen, and no shimmer.
Yu-Yake
Yu-Yaki is a medium orange ink. The ink has low water resistance, has a wet flow, and dries in moderate time. There is medium show through, low feathering, low bleeding, medium shading, no sheen, and no shimmer.
Kosumosu
Kosumosu is a deep pink ink. The ink has low water resistance, a wet flow, and dries in moderate time. There is medium show through, low feathering, low bleeding, low shading, tiny sheen, and no shimmer.
Chiku-Rin
Chiku-Rin is a pale unsaturated green. The ink has medium water resistance, a wet flow, and dries in moderate time. There is medium show through, low feathering, low bleeding, medium shading, no sheen, and no shimmer.
Ina-Ho
Ina-Ho is a medium yellow-brown ink. It has low water resistance, a wet flow, and dries in moderate time. There is medium show through, low feathering, low bleeding, medium shading, no sheen, and no shimmer.
Tsukushi
Tsukushi is a paper dependant ink; however, on most papers it is a medium brown. The ink has medium water resistance, a wet flow, and dries in moderate time. There is medium show through, low bleeding, low feathering, medium shading, medium green sheen, and no shimmer.
Shin-Ryoku
Shin-Ryoku is a medium-green ink. The ink has low water resistance, a wetter than average flow, and dries moderately slowly. There is medium show through, low feathering, low bleeding, medium shading, medium red sheen, and no shimmer.
